Ω WELCOME TO OMEGA STUD 

Omega Stud, a small boutique sporthorse stud dedicated to producing full Holstein fillies for the NZ market to help extend this wonderful breed here in NZ.   Standing at stud our young stallion Lucero, with the plan to utilize frozen semen and quality full Holstein broodmare lines. 

We are situated in the temperate climate of the sunny Bay of Islands, in the North Island of New Zealand, which provides the perfect environment to produce strong, healthy foals.

Omega Stud is owned by Steven and Lynnette Watson and managed by Lynnette.  Lynnette has had a love affair with horses from the cradle, and has ridden since age 10. Upon purchasing her first Holstein mare in 2001 she is now devoted to the breed and the goal of producing well bred Holsteiners to excel in all levels of sport in NZ.

Holsteiners offer the world’s best jumping bloodlines and fantastic people friendly temperaments of noble bearing.
